Types of Sod
Tall Fescue 
Tall Fescue is a blend of 90% Tall Fescue and 10% Kentucky Bluegrass. This type is great for families who love to enjoy the outdoors. It is a tough play lawn, well suited to the recreational needs of kids and pets. It will grow well in shaded areas and withstands drought conditions longer than other grasses mainly because of its deep root system.
Kentucky Bluegrass
At this time, 100% Kentucky Bluegrass is available by special order only! Kentucky Bluegrass is what the world's most beautiful golf courses are made of. This sod thrives in sunny areas, does well in cool climates and will tolerate very cold winters. It will go into summer dormancy in extreme hot, dry weather, but will return to its beautiful green color when watered.

Delivery
We do offer local delivery of our sod. Some minimum requirements may apply to certain locations. Please contact us with the amount and delivery location for more information.
Sizes of Sod
10 square foot rolls, measuring 2' X 5', available everyday for pick up. 9 square foot rolls, measuring 16" X 81", are available by special order only. Please contact us for pricing and ordering information.
Special Order Sod
We HARVEST and INSTALL our BIG 42" rolls available for large installations such as athletic fields, golf courses and other very large areas. Please contact us for ordering information.
We also offer the following complimentary services:
- protective paper for covering your vehicles interior when hauling sod.
- loading
- literature, brochures & pamphlets on how to install sod and care for it afterwards. We also help answer any questions you may have.
Our office is located on the farm where the sod is growing, so you can see the fields and see the different stages it is in.

Sod Staples
- Box of 1000 or Bag of 100
- A metal “U” shape to secure strips of sod on a slope or area prone to washout if a heavy rain were to occur. We recommend 3 per roll.
